Free Paris Protest Fizzles Big Time
Posted May 10th 2007 5:45PM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Wacky and Weird, Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton got a very public show of support this afternoon from some deeply concerned and passionate citizens of New York -- all three of them.
The well-publicized rally in Greenwich Village -- timed to coincide with New York University's graduation ceremonies -- fell just a little bit short of expectations, with just three protesters fighting the pro-Paris fight, calling her a victim and a martyr.

I can't show you here for legal reasons, but I can give you the link.
Go to Vh1, make sure you have the Window Player that is allowed, I think it 9 or higher,
THen go to the VSpot section, make sure your pop-up allows this one.
Then, go to shows, scoll down to Best Week Ever, and it should be there,
Look for where it says May 15.
It should be there, click the first video and enjoy. |

I found the quote below in a news magazine.
"Hilton blamed her ex-publicist for not informing her that she was not allowed to drive with a suspended license."..." The sentence is both cruel and unwarranted," she said(Paris Hilton), "I don't deserve this."

How can she be given time off for "good behavior" when she has not even served a single day? This is really too much! This is the first time I've ever heard of the the court doing this before a person spent a single day locked up.
I heard the news cast say that it was the court believe that she would behave well so the reduction was given.
I know damn well if that had been anyone else they would have not been given such a break!
And here is some more whining from her people:
Paris Hilton 'Distraught' Over Jail Time
LOS ANGELES -- Paris Hilton is "emotionally distraught and traumatized" over her 45-day jail sentence and isn't capable of testifying in a civil lawsuit against her, the socialite-reality TV star's psychiatrist said.
Dr. Charles Sophy has been seeing Hilton, 26, for the past eight months and has talked with her several times since her May 4 hearing for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case, according to court papers.
Sophy said Hilton needs time to recover from the shock of receiving jail time before testifying in a civil case brought against her by actress and diamond heiress Zeta Graff...
"At this point in time," he continued, "Ms. Hilton cannot effectively respond to examination as a witness or provide any significant input into her defense."
Graff filed a $10 million lawsuit against Hilton in 2005, claiming the reality TV star spread "vicious lies" about her. "
What a load of crap!!!

Oooh! So showing for court, which is not voluntary, for anybody else, is grounds for her to receive preferential treatment... |

I don't really like to read any kind of editorial article but I thought this excerpt from this one was interesting.
THE WEEK(that is the actual name of the magazine), May 25, 2007, Volume 7, Issue 311, Page 14-News/Best columns: The US:
Leonard Pitts, The Miami Herald
"..but because of her frequently expressed belief that the rules do not apply to her. When she lost her license for being drunk behind the wheel, she kept driving; she was pulled over with a suspended license not once but three times. Then she showed up to court 15 minutes late, and snippily told the the judge she hadn't bothered to to look at the terms of her probation. 'I'm a very buys person,' she sniffed......"
There is even more nasty stuff Paris actually said in the full article. I don't know if it is available online but trust me, it's really mean and spiteful.... |

You know what would be funny to us, not Paris, if the Judge resent her punishment back to 45 days without her knowing.
I was thinking about that and was talking about that to an Ace of Base fan earlier today. |
