Chipper Cooke is a Richmond VA-born r&b singer. He is now living in Spain, Europe, and has just released his first album Funkytown (Universal Vale Music, 2008)

I have been to Richmond, VA many times but I had never heard of this artist until you mentioned him. I also remember the original versions of "Ai No Corrida" and "Funky Town" but did not know there were any recent remakes.

Well Funky Town has been remixed, remade and adapted many times but I didn't know that it newly redone.
