Hello my chicki pooh people :)
Nobody knows when the end of the world is, but it might be near. Why ?
1) the recent multiple earthquakes within 2 weeks span (california, then Haiti, then Venezuela, then Haiti again after just 8 days). And after earthquake, comes Tsunami !
2) the giant ice melting off the north pole will cause ocean and river to overflow. It will also make the whole population of Bears to migrate south and terrorize people ! It has already started - bears migration to southern part of Alaska and killing pets and young children.
3) temperature mix-ups - Florida has always been warm even winter, so all the fruits like oranges comes from Florida. But now florida have been experiencing below-zero temperature so all of their fruits dies.
4) one of the world's largest ancient volcano ( that stretches from arizona to utah to colorado , wyoming, etc) could explode again and will destroy the whole usa. Then the thick ash from this giant volcano will cover the whole earth from the sun, marking the next ICE AGE.
5) the on-going war
6) economy still going down, while human population are still multiplying and unemployment so there will be more crimes.
7) etc etc bla bla bla
From number 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 above, it looks like our earth is getting really old and is getting ready to "retire".

1) Yeah that was absolutely terrible news. But I don't think that it has something to do with the end of the world. Just because it's nature doesn't mean that everything will be gone..
2) Hmm I've read something about that once. But this is our own fault. We are just dumb, because we aren't doing enough to stop the global warming. But if the bears get to close to humans they get shot, so they aren't as dangerous as it looks like. The only thing that might kill us is the global warming.
3) Yeah, that's just weirdxD But we can survive. Because there will be food that survives the climate. Maybe they taste bad, but that's not the biggest issue.
4) Yeah some people say it's true, and other say they are absolutely wrong. Personal I don't believe it. And if it will happen, we ill be alarmed soon enough. So I'd say: This is a rumour.
5) We can stop. But the USA don't want to. So that's (again) our own fault. And besides, a war is bad and destroy humans lives, but it won't destroy the world (only the atomic bombs, which won't be used unless more country's agree.)
6) Yeah the economy is going down. but it will go up. And besides that's also our fault. But the economy will rise in 3 till 4 years, so that's not terrible. I mean people lost their home's and stuff, bet we can make it. As long as we want to:)
7) There are lots of problems, most of them are caused by human nature. At the end we can make it. but people have to believe in it, and we all need to help. Stop the cars, and take a bike:)
My conclusion is that the end of the world won't be soon. It will come, but in a few hundred years maybe. And we can live longer if we help. But who am I to tell this^^

No they where wrong. That was based on facts from the maya. The only problem is that we're humans and we make mistakes. They miscalculated themselfxD
It'll take a few hundred years before a meteor will collide;)

But i dunno, i'm skeptical about the whole 'end of the world thing' I'm not religious or anything so it's all far fetched to me (just an opinion) but if the world ends tomorrow or in two years either way there's not much we can do. I don't think there's any point worrying about it to be honest, there was a scare a few years ago that the world was going to end, and yet here we are now.

sorry 4 the late reply. Thanks for all of your points of views :) and I agree with all of you .. its mostly our (human's) fault.
But in my opinion, even if we all start to cut down on CO2 emission, its still too late (or we might not have enough time) to reverse the global warming.

Yeah that was the man who made the maya calendar. That predicted that it was in 2012, but he did something wrong and now it isn't correctxD
Eventually it will go wrong. I'm just wondering what comes first.. The global warming that shall ruin the world. Or will it be the sun that is going to explode(that will happen in about 1000 years:P)
I think that we can save the world. But we're not going to:P That's our problem, all the people love there big cars and they won't going to walk 'cause they're lazy:P that's the point. And that's how we (eventually) end.

I think global warming will happen first but i'm so confused by it, one day the news is that there's a hole in the ozone layer meaning that the world is going to fry and everything is melting, but the next day it's on the news that the entire world is freezing and in about 500 years we're going to enter an ice age...i wish they would just make their minds up!
I watched this the other day about the future and our choices, it's really really clever and also really true! It's like what we are now and what people think our 'lost generation' is, and then what happens if we reverse that.

yea the news and documentary always change their perspective.. either ice age or the new era of heat-wave.
but i was watching a documentary on Science Channel the other day.. about the Bermuda Triangle being the deepest part of the world. Underneath it is about 780 degree Fahrenheit and hot lava still spew out of it constantly.
AND.. directly opposite side of the Bermuda Triangle is the other deepest part of the world.. somewhere near fiji.
The documentary film that I'd watched says those 2 are the "blackhole" of the earth. And there are proofs of it because boats and airplanes would suddenly dissapear when they cross the Bermuda Triangle. Divers have found centuries of airplanes and boats wreckage around the area !
So when you're near the blackhole zone, your compass will go crazy and your watch and electronics will just die because of the very strong electromagnetic interference from the blackhole.
Interesting huh ?
That science channel that I'd watch.. for the first time in history, they've managed to put a remote controlled submarine to the deepest part of the earth to collect samples and to photograph the deepest ocean floor --- they found mini white shrimps crawling and the bottom is always pitch black and 780 degrees fahrenheit !! whoaaaaaaaaaaaa ! amazing shrimpy huh :) so that means if u try to cook them, GOOD LUCK ! |
