Could you guys help me find new songs and artists to listen to? They could be old songs that I've never even heard of, too. I'm generally listening to pop music coz' it's my preferred genre, but any song recommendations would be nice - so long a they don't include Justin Bieber, GaGa, Kanye, Taylor Swift...you get the point. It's not that I hate these artists, but their music just keeps playing everywhere these days. It kinda makes you sick.
I need a more unique set of songs to listen to. I need Ear Candy.

Do u like Michael Jackson? he had nice songs for example Black or White, Heal the World . :D But his songs are famous whole in the world so i think u know this songs :) :P
I recommendation bands: Metallica , Rammstein - but i don't know that u like rock music :) I like the Beatles too :P I'm from Poland so i can recommendation polish bands ( Afromental, Behemoth) or singers (Czesław Niemiec, Urszula, Anna Jantar, Iwona Węgrowska) :D
if u like sung poetry u can hear Janusz Radek or Michał Bajor :D
i like emmanuel moire too, but his songs isn't sung poetry :D

Thanks for the recommendations. I gave Behemoth a try - honestly, they scared me a bit. Ear-bleedy songs like that isn't really my taste. But good call on Afromental though. I'm giving them a try now. I've also listened to the other artists you gave me, and it's just too bad that I can't really understand them - but still good songs!
As for MJ, I started listening to him after Darin covered some of his tracks. haha
As for AmySupporter's songs, I've been hearing about Amy Diamond alot. So, I gave her a listen to. And I've been listening to Britney since 1999 - which is expected from an A*teens fan because of the same genre.

yeah haha behemoth is frightening :D:D but i think they're talented :P i thought that u won't understand polish songs :D maybe tell my what is ur fav kind of music and i'll try something else to recommend:))

Did you listen to Amy Diamond's last album? It's called "Swings & Roundabouts". Make sure, you will love them so much! 
Also, I listen to Lily Allen last album! It's called "It's not me, It's you". Did you listen to Lily Allen's songs? I love her songs. Good job! |

Haha. I am listening to Amy a bit now. They're kind of those songs you have to listen to over and over again to really appreciate. You really can't take it in with just one listen. So, yeah, I've put her songs on my playlist.
And the only Lily song I have is her cover of Womanizer - which kind of doesn't count... |

Then you can use Jamendo to help yourself become better known.  Really. If you have some recordings you'd like people to hear; upload one or two tracks to Jamendo and see what happens.
If you look a little further down list of Music Forum topics you will see a post I made about Magdalen Graal. I first heard her music on Jamendo and there is no reason why you can not have the same opportunity. |

I can recommend you Malice Mizer. They're music is other than music, whose are non stop in radio. They have a few murky song, but other few is very nice. Check it:

I think it's the most beautifull songs I ever heard. But it's only my opinion ;) I know, you can thought, it's strange or something else. They have other style, "old school" [very, very old ;)] but nice is to hear this ;)
