For those who aren't familiar with the Latin American culture, the trumpet solo you hear throughout the whole song actually belongs to the salsa track "Amores Como El Nuestro" (means, "Loves Like Ours") sung by Jerry Rivera. This song was released and became very popular in the mid-1990's, so Shakira sampled it in her song.
I'm not usually her fan but I like some of her songs, and this is not one of them. |
