alo alo.. stitchy here.. Just wondering what do you guys do at the Malls and how many hours do you usually spend ?
I love malls but sometimes I get this pre-calculated thinking that going to mall is a major waste of time and that you might be tempted to buy stuffs that you don't even need.
I go to malls like once per 2 months and when I go.. i usually stay there for 5 to 6 hours !! heres what we do ..
1) seeing and touching things ( Brookstone / Spencer / other electronic stores)
2) trying on clothes although I have more clothes than my 3 sisters combined !!
3) visiting the pet stores to pet baby bunnies / kittens / puppies
4) eat unhealthy food
As I said.. before I go to mall.. I always get this pre-calculated thinking that going to mall is a major waste of time and that you might be tempted to buy stuffs that you don't even need. I think people go there to browse for hotties to flirt around so its like a teeny-bopper thing. What do you guys think ?? |

the closest mall to me is like an hour away so I dont go that much because I have a bit of a road rage problem when I drive for too long... lol
But when I do go, I just go to pretty much every store n try on everything I like n if I have money, I buy it. And other times I just sit on the balcony with some friends and drink starbucks or somethin. |

I hate malls in general, and ours are pretty dead anymore so I rarely go. When we do, it's to the food court for some Japanese food or a pretzel.. Then out. |

The two closest malls to me (when I'm at home and not at school) are about 30 minutes away. I usually go to one of them whenever I come home from college. I like going to The Sharper Image, FYE, and Hot Topic. I usually go with my sister and end up following her to Abercrombie, Hollister, and all those stores. My favorite thing, by far, though is getting Dippin' Dots and Auntie Anne's pretzels. :) |

the closest mall to me is about half an hour away but it's pretty horrible.. a few times a year i go to a mall thats an hour away and it has stores that i like (abercrombie, j.crew, etc.) but it's a pain to get there so most of the time internet shopping does just fine  |

I'm not a mall person yeah i go to get clothes and other things like that for school. and stay probably 5 hours or until it closes (cause mom and my sister takes a long time) but the only time i like going there was spending time with Wild Animals they had they brought Tigers (including the White Tiger), Lions, lion cubs, pythons and some of a few farm animals. Next time they come i'm going to ask for a job lol.. |

The mall closest to me is about 15 minutes away... maybe 20. When I go, I just go to the bookstore and Hot Topic. Me and my sister stay for about 30 minutes and then head downtown to a used bookstore, lol. We stay there about an hour and a half, 2 hours maybe. She leaves with 3, 4 books and if I want a book, she buys that one for me. Last time it was two. But our biggest mall is downtown, and when I go THERE I go to the bookstore, and Hot Topic ('cause it's bigger than the local) and Journey's, maybe, and when I leave I beg to go to Barnes & Noble. It's right across the street and it has a Starbucks inside; why not?
So that's my mall story. We go to the local mall and end up at a used bookstore. |

i rarely go to the mall but when i go, it's usually about 2 hours. i go to a few stores and eat lunch. that's about it. |

BINGO!! Thank youuu... this is so totally me made over! But I don't go to the cinema... I only go whenever my aunt and my cousin are going to see something I've been dying to see! The last time I went to cinema was... last year... July 3, 2005.  . Oh, wait, when did Stealth come out? |

The mall is the best plaes in the world!!!!
Only tak you'r Dad's Cradit card and one or Two(NO MORE)
And sag:LETS GO AND SHOPPING
and the end off the day you fix yor's nail:)

i love the mall!
I'm about 10 minutes away from a classic shopping mall, and 45 minutes away from a huge one.
And since I can drive, that's where I pretty much hang out if the movies are sold out.

Believe it or not: I actually live a town that doesn't have a real mall! 
The idiots around here think that the super "Wal-mart" counts... 
So in answer to your question: I go to malls when I am visiting a city and then I tend to hang out 2 to 3 hours and call it a day... While there I'll check out the music and video stores...I like the way the perfume smells in the botiques and department stores so I walk slowly pass sniffing and window shopping (triple slow when passing Victoria's  )

I go about 3 times/year. Last time I went was half June and I really bought a lot of things cos I guess I was in a buying mood. When I told my colleagues they said I was well crazy because sales period starts 1 July, but I never go shopping during sales because:
- shops are overcrowded
- you have to queue for ages for the fitting rooms when you only have one piece of clothing, because everyone in front of you is holding arms full of clothes they can barely carry it
- the clothes that have been tried on by people are just thrown back into the shelves, not nicely folded up (yeah call me a nitpicker but that bothers me)
- your size is always sold out
is there anyone else that does not like to shop during sales? |
