*shrug* Oh, so we're not being really serious? I don't know, I still like the U.S. It's a beautiful place, and I like the language they speak. Some of the chicks are hot there, too.
I'm not "white," though. My parents are immigrants. But I've visited my "native" country before and I'd rather lick the underside of a handrail at Disney World than go back there. |

But I am an American. I live in the U.S. But my family isn't native to this country, we're native to Cuba. In the United States it's a little different from most other countries, though, because you don't have to be born here to be considered American. If you move here and get naturalized, you're considered an American, even if you or your family were born somewhere else, since this country is made up mostly of immigrants and their offspring, anyway. So that's what I mean: my family is American and Cuban at the same time. |

the US since I've visited there last year. the only thing I didn't like is that you're obliged to spend so much money on tipping waiters etc because they don't get paid much. |

Agreed. But some people get into debt up to their eyeballs, though...
I like the USA (as Cygnus said above in my quote) because you don't have to do anything special to move to a different state. (Except get a new driver's license and maybe a state-issued ID or something like that.) And also because we are a *big word* multi-cultural country. Many people have different backgrounds.
Whew. |

hm.. that is unfortunate. the farms are really far from the cities though. i didn't know that plaasmoorde were still happening. it is quite scary. but at least we don't have osama terrorists crashing planes into our buildings killing masses and masses. at the least the plaasmoorde are isolated cases. it's still terrible, but at least it isn't on such a big scale as other countries. every country has it's unfortunate problems. and the world over it all seems race and religion related. the plaasmoorde is terrible hatred crimes against Whites |

The article stated it's still daily reality and yeah it's terrible to say the least. It's black gangs attacking white farmers who live in rural areas always marked by an abnormal cruelness i.e. babies being wrapped into newspapers and set on fire and men and women being shot in the head just like that. Only a few days ago, a white family was killed in a most awful way. The father was tortured for more than 4 hours, his attackers burnt him with boiled water, carved into his face and eventually strangled him with his own shoelaces. They even melted plastic and poured it over his 10 yr old son.
Anyways, maybe it's obvious you haven't heard much about it lately as it's being plainly ignored/silenced by journo's and academics or at least minimalized. A most scandalous politically-correct behaviour that once again proves the strong anti-white climate in current South-Africa. Shame though.. |

ja it all gets covered up since the Black government took over.
isn't it insteresting that during Apartheid, if the Whites did ANYTHING to the Blacks it was allllll over the news for all to see, but now that the Blacks are in charge, the Whites suffer and it all gets covered up under the ANC's rug.
I'm not saying Apartheid was a good thing. But crime was certainly much lower.
I cannot believe how barbaric it is. I think I may have heard of that particular case actually (the child being burned with plastic sounds familiar).
It's like the Blacks think they can do as they please... and the Black government just turns a blind eye. It makes me sick.
And you know why all of the fighting started?? All because the Blacks didn't want to speak Dutch!
It's still an intensely beautiful country though, and a great place to live. I think race/colour will always be an issue (the world over)... no matter what someone might say. |
