It's good advice. Go to that bathroom before you leave or learn a hard, painful lesson.... 
Woman gets stuck on toilet, suffers burns

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - A woman who became stuck to a toilet seat in a shopping mall restroom was treated at a local hospital after paramedics used fingernail polish remover to free her, officials said.
The 53-year-old Council Bluffs woman suffered burns to her skin in the incident, which happened Wednesday, officials with the Fire Department said.
Investigators said they believe someone placed a cement compound on the toilet seat in the restroom at the Mall of the Bluffs.
Investigators say they are treating the case as an assault and vandalism.
The woman, who wasn't identified, told KETV in Omaha, Neb., that the burns are painful and that the incident was one of the most embarrassing moments in her life.

actually that prank is sorta common. I remember reading half a dozen of the same pranks on cnn.com over the course of 2 years. The victims are all old people tho. |

Maybe because old people are less likely than younger ones to say: "Oh! I don't want to catch anything from the last person's STD-riddled buttocks. I think I'll put toilet paper over the seat." |

can anyone tell me, seeing Americans are quite prudish people, why nearly every public toilet in America have such huge gaps between the door and the wall so you can actually see the person sitting on the toilet? |

It's not particularly funny, I really hate those toilets and "go before you leave" doesn't really help if you leave the hotel early in the morning and don't come back until evening. 
Back to the toilet seat prank, I wonder what you meant by adding "the victims are all old people though". Correct me if I'm wrong, but you make that sound like that makes it all less bad, why? |

Uh...Americans have strong bladders? *shrug* I rarely ever have to go outside my house, even if I leave early in the morning and don't come back until late evening. One trains oneself.
Maybe the reason why the stalls have huge gaps is so that one will be discouraged from staying too long, so that the kind of business one can do in there is limited to the speedier bodily function, which reduces the chances of a nasty clog that a disgruntled janitor will have to unplug. Just a theory. |

oh oh those are what was on the news... I read CNN.com everyday and I have read about 4 or 5 people being stuck in the toilet seat (with glue, cement etc). All these happened in different places / different time.. but they were all elderly. I didnt made it sound less bad.. i play no favoritism !! young or old, straight or bi, race-A or race-B, blondes or brunette, doesnt matter ! |

Toilet Technology Moves Forward
TOILET TECHNOLOGY - One might think that the technology of toilets had reached its logical zenith -- but, not true! In this strikingly innovative design, aimed strictly at women, American genius and innovation is once again in evidence.
The distinguished manufacturer of bathroom fixtures, American Standard, announced today that it is rethinking its entire marketing strategy. lol... Well Last week at Church Camp the guys had a pooping contest to see how many marks they can get on there little paper they have and those guys are always in there Dorm rooms trying to win the contest lol... but that woman should've aleast check before sitting on it lol.. |
