I have to correct my last update. Some of the information was for a older game system and not the latest. Sorry about the mistake. 
Available starting April 20, 2008 will be Pokemon: Mystery Dungeons Explorers of Time AND Pokemon: Explorers of Darkness.

Pokemon Platinum revealed, set for fall release in Japan
Pokéfanatics across the globe have been anxiously tied to their poké-related news sites over the past few weeks, attempting to prognosticate what gemstone/precious metal/color would serve as the title for the next installment in the beloved monster-enslaving series -- shortly after CoroCoro magazine dropped word of the upcoming Pokémon Platinum, the Sandshrew-swift Nintendo swooped in to confirm the title, and to reveal a fall release window for the game in Japan.

Saint Seiya (聖闘士星矢, Seinto Seiya?), also known as Knights of the Zodiac, is a manga series authored by Masami Kurumada, and later adapted to anime. The story follows five mystical warriors called the "Saints" (or "Knights"; the kanji is properly read as sei-tōshi "holy fighter" but the furigana has it pronounced "saint") who have adopted various constellations as their guardian symbols. The anime series won the Animage Anime Grand Prix prize in 1987, but was cancelled in 1989 due to low ratings of the manga and anime.

Leading kids' broadcaster Corus Entertainment today announces highlights from its 2008 fall schedules and the launch of Nickelodeon Sundays, a brand new 3-hour programming block on YTV jam-packed with Nickelodeon shows including a new animated series from Amy Poehler, The Mighty B. Also new to YTV's fall schedule is the finale of The Next Star, Canada's search for a young singing sensation; new shows from Holly Hobbie and Bert and Ernie on Treehouse, and Discovery Kids' new take on science with SciQ....

Oke. I am sorry I still don't exactly what the USA schedule is. If you have cable or satellite TV, then you can Pokemon see the Cartoon Network but on other channels/networks I will have to let you know.

There is a New Pokemon Game based on Diamond and Pearl. D & P is an older series but the newest game was just released in August 2008. I think the name is : Diamond & Pearl: Adventure Island. |

This is the latest news for Fall 2008 going into the Christmas Holiday Season.
"As we have known for a while, the fall 2008 Pokemon tins will feature Mewtwo LV.X and Rhyperior LV.X. Both LV.Xs will feature English-exclusive artwork, like Darkrai LV.X in the Darkrai tin, which has artwork Japan never used on a Pokemon card. Originally, the prerelease product image showed the two LV.Xs with their Legends Awakened artwork, but it is obvious now those images were just placeholders and were not actually what was going to be featured in the final product. Both tins will come with 4 booster packs (one Diamond and Pearl, one Mysterious Treasures, one Secret Wonders, and one EX Power Keepers), and will each cost around $12.00.......
For the holiday season, two more tins will become available - Heatran and Regigigas. Both cards are promos, but are merely holo versions of the Heatran and Regigigas rares that are in Legends Awakened, just like the two that come in the set's theme decks. However, the cards featured in the tins are subject to change...."

Unfortunately, I have some very sad news... 
Maddie Blaustein AKA Addie Blaustein, a voice actor , who played the Pokemon character, Meowth died December 11....

I don't know if the news is true or rumor but supposedly a new Pokemon movie is to be released in 2009.

The Movie is called, " Giratina and the Sky's Warrior" (not hard confirmed)and is a Japanese Language film only(so far).
Several new trading card games have been introduced. I will include the updated information on them in a future edit or post. |
