I am a Christian. I teach a Sunday School Class for 2nd Graders with my Parents. I go to church almost every Sunday. But sometimes I work at the Movie Theater on Sunday during the hours of church time. |

Is your criteria soley Christianity? Well, how about people who follow strict moral guidelines, but are of an atheist philosophy? (Yes, I know. There are few...but there shouldn't be.) |

oh oh I'm on-and-off cuz I'm a very scientific person.. my thinking are all based on the combination of Logic + Science. And yet I still pray.
What brings me back to Christianity (which is non-logical and defies the law of science) is the "if theres Evil, theres Goodness. If Demons exist, God must co-exist".
Well.. surely enough, I've watched Discovery Channel and History Channel and they showed an actual video-taped footage of exorcism where the Subject (girl) is talking in an angry male-voice and speaking in ancient dialect as well, and their unexeplainable superbeing-strenght. And after a Catholic priest came in to exorcise the demon away, the girl got cured.
So therefore, Science should not close it's door to non-logical concepts ( Spiritual experience is one example).
Now that its proven that "GOD" does exist and parallels with Science (although they don't intersect), lies the next question..
Catholicism proves that it's God is capable of deterring Demons. So Catholicism is more effective than Protestantism ? I know Protestanism is just like Catholism minus the Saint-worshipping and Wood-worshipping stupidiies. But how come there are no exorcism by Protenstants ?
And I wonder if theres any "proofs" that Mooslemism / Jewizim / Hindunizm becomes effective. Or are these 3 religions just to clutter up the rest of the civilization. I know Buddism have their "proofs" too. |

No. Science is, by definition, logical. If it wasn't logical, it wouldn't be science; you'd have to find another name for whatever it is you're describing, but not "science." So science closing or opening the door to non-logical spirituality is a non-issue because the two have nothing to do with one another. Science and faith do not mix. Regardless of whether one wishes to follow a faith or follow science, it is important to know not to mix them up--if they are mixed, faith is not longer faith, and science no longer science.
Now, if they found a chemical compound that caused people to exhibit the symptoms of demonic possession or something like that, it would be a scientific discovery. Science has often explained things that were previously thought to be supernatural occurances (Like thunder, lightning, mental illness, etc...). Now, if one were to say: "I believe that a chemical compound, plus the entrance of a demonic spirit into the person's body causes possession," that is not science. That is a strange compromise of faith and science and, obviously, it won't work. Science is that which can be conceivably prooven and repeated; faith is just "knowing" for little or no logical reason. You can't compromise opposite principles like that. |

Well, i don't belive in god but im in the swedish church witch is christian but i believe in ghosts and "coincidences"! dunno what to call em but here's an example...
I hate a girl in my school, or i do now, havent done all time but anyway..
In the Sixth class and i got her as a letter friend in my english lessons and in the seventh class i start in the same class as her. :( and not done yet. The day we hate eachother the most we get in the same group where we shall cook some stupid food... it is 7 kitchens and its 14 papers with a number on, the number u get in that kitchen u shall be, and i get number 1, she get's that 2!!! :(

I am a Christian. And I am very happy. I have been going to Catholic school forever, every Friday and Sunday I go to mass, I am a huge part of the choir always signing and doing solos. I participate in the Stations of the Cross, I was the narirator and leader of song last year. And I love it, this year I am making my conformation!!! I am excited because its going to make me feel like I chose to be a Catholic and wasn't forced. My sain name is going to be Philamenia, rare name, but I love the saint. I saw a picture of her and she looked so pretty. I was at an old ladies house that I met from church giving her an Easter present and told her I liked her, the next day I saw three pictures of her and information about her in the mail. It was the sweetest thing possibly ever. Well, I wrote a lot. Anyway I am a Christian, and find when my faith is strong, my confidence is strong. :) |

it was suposed to be cookies but we forgot to put eggwhite (dunno spelling)so it smelled yew and after that we forgot the candy on em and after that we forgot em in the oven :P was the worse day ive ever had! :D |
