Elena Risteska performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens 2006. She represented Macedonia with the song "Ninanajna" (prenounced Nina-nai-na)she was participant #11. The crowd LOVED her after she gave an energetic performence. The song "Ninanajna" consists of a mix of up-to-date Pop, Dance and R&b. She came 12th with 56 points.

The newspapers reported:

"Come on!" shouts Elena Risteska of FYR Macedonia as her song starts. And the audience is immediately under her spell. "Ninanajna" is a mix of up-to-date Pop, Dance and R&B. It's a tune that makes you want to dance...and the huge group of her supporters in the arena did just that. In the song, Elena name checks Beyonce and Shakira but surely even they can't gyrate her hips like Elena can. Elena Risteska looked great, dressed in daring hot pants and high heels. After a hugely energetic performance, she ends up having a well-earned sit down... on her backing dancer's back! A great performance.

I remember the 1st. time I listened to this song as the Macedonian entry to 2006's Eurovision Song Contest: A Macedonian-lyric reggaeton track!
It's a good song and her performance was very good though there were some issues with her microphone but eventually it all came out fine.
