Gwen's new CD is okay. There are a few songs that are a little too experimental for me and others are more hip-hop than I'm into. If you're into either of those, you'll love the album. There's a little bit of everything. The songs I like are "Early Winter," "4 In The Morning," "Yummy," and "Wonderful." I kind of like "Wind It Up," but for some reason, I just can't get into the song completely... I do really love the sampling of "The Lonely Goatherd" from The Sound of Music though, and I love how the video also draws inspiration from it too. (I also think that after all these years of Gwen talking about how much she loves Julie Andrews and The Sound of Music, the fact that she uses the sample in her own song is awesome.) |

I heard about that a few months ago, that the guys from No Doubt have been starting work on a new album and waiting for Gwen to get done with her solo stuff. I can't wait! Gwen's cool by herself, but No Doubt's been my favorite band for 10 years, so I'm really excited to hear their new music whenever they finally end up releasing it. |
