Vibram’s manufacturing plant in North Brookfield, MA has been around since the early 1800s. Positions include: Production Associates, Finishing Associates, Mixing Associates, AND MORE!

Whether you are new to the industry and looking to get your foot in the door, or experienced and looking to move into a reputable company in the area, we have a position for you!

Mixform Operators will perform various duties within the mixing department as a relief or replacement operator on all production operations including, but not limited to, belt loader, rear hopper operator, mill operator, stacker, compounder, others as required as well as cutting and trucking stock, putting up scrap, weighing up manual oils, general clean up and assisting regular operators as required.

Shifts: 1st and 2nd

Responsibilities:

Operate production equipment as assigned to relieve or replace regular operators for brief or extended periods of time.
Operate power lift trucks, bail picker, power sweeper, guillotine, other equipment in support of or to service production operations.
Assist operators such as placing plastic sheets between slabs for stacker, supplying pallets and skids, filling compounder’s bins, general material handling.
Detect and report material or equipment problems, unusual situations to the team leader.
Maintain equipment and area in a neat and orderly condition.
Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices and employ all safety equipment and devices.
Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the job.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be at least 18 years old or older
Previous experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required for most roles
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Good communication and basic math skills
Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop, walk up stairs

Temp to hire opportunities. Paid holidays provided by Vibram after 30 days working on assignment.
